Today I was craving tuna salad so I went to the Whole Foods salad bar and proceeded to heap a scoop of every flavor tuna and chicken salad they had available into my box.
My dinner was delicious and the surprising amount of apples, cucumbers, and raisins I discovered in each bite was spectacular. I mean, I wasn’t even expecting this to have veggies and fruits, and here I am crunching away like a health nut! But I digress …
Around the time Katie Holmes looked like a big ole bitch at the Emmys I started to die.
I am never eating more than 2 flavors of tuna salad for dinner again.
I am now snacking on saltines which sadly do not have those exciting bites of apple.
But damn I wish I piled more curry turkey salad into my box. (that’s what she said)

The glue from the gods that holds it all together, making the art of a meat or fish salad possible.
Good night everyone. This was my post about the Emmys.
I can’t wait to see the results of this study. When I was in Iceland last year my friends and I went on a road trip and everyone warned us not to step on the moss, as it would disturb the elves. Some Icelandic people are completely serious about elves but it’s ok because Icelandic people are also beautiful.
This is amazing. My favorite part is watching the chef shove it into his face without chopsticks. Japanese people rock.
So yesterday I was on Long Island visiting my family for Labor Day Weekend. However, I decided to start reading The Hunger Games and that prevented me from any real contact with my family.
The second I started reading I couldn’t put it down and finished the book in 4 hours. At the point my family acknowledged that I was being completely anti-social, I happened to be sitting at the pool sobbing over my paperback. The Hunger Games will do that to you.
I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading, the story is great. And the best part about it is that virtually any age can appreciate it. Once I finished the book I helped my 10 year old cousin with his book report (The Hunger Games was his summer reading) and instead of feeling like a loser for reading the same book as a 5th grader, I was super pumped to discuss this book with him!
While he looked at it as more of an adventure book about betrayal and friendship, I gave him a liberal lecture about the government. I’m excited to see how he does on his book report …
Sometimes I feel like a big asshole for looking into the “hidden messages” about what this book is “really trying to say” but that’s the beauty of a story that is so well written. So if anyone wants to get all philosophical about this book hit me up. I’ll be filling up my kleen kanteen at the water fountain in the hallway.
This book is wonderful, and I can’t wait to start reading the next book in the trilogy. And while I hate myself for saying this, I am even more excited to see the movie. Jennifer Lawrence is a perfect actor to play Katniss and anyone who’s read this book knows it makes for a sick blockbuster. I can’t believe I just said “sick blockbuster”.
Read it.

Oh hello beautiful BADASS.
